Two minutes. One documented ask.
You do not need to be a policy expert. State where you live, name one concern, ask for the record that answers it, and request that the answer be made public.
30 seconds: who you are
“My name is ________. I live in ________. I am asking for documented answers about Project Silo before major commitments are made.”
60 seconds: one question
Choose one: full-build power demand, water demand, operational noise, emergency planning, infrastructure costs, incentives, measured distance to homes/schools, or cross-jurisdiction coordination.
30 seconds: the ask
“Please identify the study, application, agreement or public record that answers this question, and make it publicly available.”
Good language
“What does the project-specific study show?”
“What has been completed, and what remains outstanding?”
“Who pays this incremental infrastructure cost?”
Avoid unsupported claims
Do not say Project Silo is formally on the October 6 agenda unless the official agenda establishes it. Do not claim a final power/water number without a project-specific source. Do not claim Crusoe is Project Silo without evidence.
Five strong questions to choose from.
Power
What is the current requested or projected full-build electrical load, and what utility/interconnection records establish it?
Water
What cooling method is proposed, what are average/peak/annual water demands, and what project-specific water-resource analysis supports them?
Homes + schools
What are the measured distances from buildings and major equipment to nearby homes and schools, and what compatibility standards apply?
Noise + safety
What acoustic, generator, battery, fire and emergency-response studies have been completed, and where can residents read them?
Public cost
Which roads, utility upgrades or other infrastructure are required, who pays each cost, and what incentives or reimbursements have been proposed?
Across the city line
What process guarantees neighboring Lochbuie and Weld County residents a meaningful role when project effects cross municipal boundaries?
