The 80% statement is a records question.
On September 30, the City of Brighton published an economic-development release celebrating Brighton EDC and the City’s growth strategy. The City says it provides Brighton EDC approximately $800,000 annually, and says its Business Attraction Incentive Policy allows the city manager to approve certain incentives up to $250,000.
The same release repeatedly says comprehensive-planning work expands industrial land designations in Weld County by 80 percent.
Brighton’s Long Range Planning page separately says the replacement Comprehensive Plan remains a draft, hearings are upcoming but have not yet been scheduled, and the 2016 Be Brighton Comprehensive Plan remains in effect until the new plan is adopted.
The City also names Crusoe AI among employers it has attracted. That establishes a documented Brighton economic-development relationship with Crusoe. It does not establish that Crusoe is Project Silo’s developer, operator, tenant or beneficiary.
